Forest Meadows Amphitheatre presents The Comedy of Errors, adapted and directed by Michael Gene Sullivan. Sullivan starts a revolution by placing the play squarely in the time it was originally performed, but now done so by a rogue women’s acting troupe. Michael, a mainstay of the San Francisco Mime Troupe, will deliver this raucous comedy with his well-honed satirical bite.

The Comedy of Errors is a play by William Shakespeare that revolves around the humorous confusion and chaos caused by two sets of identical twins who were separated at birth. The play is set in the ancient Greek city of Ephesus, where one set of twins, Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant Dromio of Syracuse, arrive in search of their long-lost brothers, Antipholus of Ephesus and Dromio of Ephesus. Unbeknownst to them, their twins live in Ephesus, leading to a series of mistaken identities, wrongful accusations, and comedic misunderstandings.
