About Swing State

Evenings on the prairie are relatively quiet for Peg, a recently widowed woman in rural Wisconsin who still cooks for two. Which doesn’t go to waste whenever Ryan, a dear friend with a troubled past, pays her a visit. However, after noticing her husband’s toolbox is missing, she places a call to the local authorities—unwittingly setting off a series of events that will forever reverberate through the small community. See it if Well-written&beautifully perf esp by the2leads.Each charact shows some despair but the play ends w a hopeful msg & a strong ref 2nature and

Don’t see it if suicide: "X all living things it's best2let life run its natural course."Uwish x a different ending btw the 2leads. Guess Gilman wants2keep*

That female lead.. oh my!!, My heart was bombed 💣, Amazing 4ppl ensemble, Superb writing, Directed by tony winner

See it if Emotional roller coaster ride. I hate the playwright for being so manipulative!! Care about the 2 leads so much & wish a different ending.

Don’t see it if Almost 2hrs no intermission. Warning of alcohol abuse/gun violence/suicidal attempts. Not your lighthearted entrainment. Can we be redeemed?

See it if A powerful & moving drama with authentic acting, creative set & intelligent script. The director wove a wonderful experience. Bravo!

Don’t see it if No negative comments. This is a Must See Play.

See it if you enjoy great drama with small town characters that could be your neighbors, struggling and trying to help each other. Great sound/lights.

Don’t see it if you do not like to be shocked. A bit slow in parts with heavy dialogue.
