More information about Jean-Michel Basquiat: King Pleasure©

The exhibition has partnered with arts education non-profit P.S. ARTS and sponsors TodayTix, Boardwalk Pictures, and GRoW Annenberg, on free educational programming that will invite families and students to experience and be inspired by Jean-Michel’s work and life. There will be free admission every Thursday from 5 PM and Family Art Nights on first Thursdays beginning May 4th, with a limited amount of free tickets available here on TodayTix.

On the first Thursday of every month, families are invited to explore, imagine and create their own neo-expressionist artwork in the courtyard outside of the galleries after viewing the exhibition. All supplies are provided, participation is free of charge and no previous art experience is required. The workshop is available to the first 100 guests and is first come first served. The event will start at 6 PM and last approximately for 45 minutes, led by a different teaching artist each month.
